Welcome to the Schertz Civic and Community Centers, your resource for rental facilities for any type of event. Three facilities are available to choose from: Civic Center, Community Center and North Center. Our facilities are conveniently located just off of IH-35 between Austin and San Antonio.
The Schertz Civic Center is an ideal location for your next banquet, meeting, conference or event. Our beautiful Center, where Luxury meets Affordability, offers two facilities. With more than 10,000 sq.ft. of combined meeting space, this premier event facility has features and services designed to accommodate groups from 10-600. Guests will enjoy a state-of-the-art facility that is conveniently located just off of IH-35 between Austin and San Antonio.
Versatility is what sets the Schertz Civic Center apart from other facilities
The Grand Ballroom: Wood floors, tall ceilings and adjustable lighting make this space perfect for celebrations, meetings and training. The Schertz Civic Center offers guests a comfortable contemporary atmosphere while adding all the professional services of a large event facility. Our Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests for a sit down reception with enough space to dance the night away on our 28×28 ft. dance floor. In case your event does not require that much seating, the Grand Ballroom can transform into our Cut-off Hall, accommodating up to 200 guests for a more intimate atmosphere.
Also available will be access to audio and visual aids consisting of retractable screens, DVD/CD friendly projection systems and microphones to give your reception an extra dimension of class. The ballroom also divides into five separate meeting rooms ranging from 750 square feet to 2,300 square feet to accommodate the size of your event.
The Bluebonnet Hall: Cozy and comfortable, this hall offers wood floors, a built-in dance floor, and a full commercial kitchen. The Bluebonnet Hall is ideal for social events and receptions and can accommodate up to 120 people; serves as meeting and training space for small groups, HOA’s, and non-profit organizations.
It is also useful as overflow space from the Grand Ballroom for cocktail hour and catering stations. It is equipped with a retractable screen and audio-visual capabilities. This room also has two small meeting rooms if your event requires different breakout areas. At a very reasonable price the Bluebonnet Hall has it all.
For events that do not require as much seating as our Grand Ballroom, the room can be transformed into our Cut-off Hall which can accommodate up to 200 guests banquet-style for a more intimate atmosphere, or 300+ in theater-style seating for ceremony-type events. It includes all the amenities of our Grand Ballroom and can be divided into two breakout rooms if desired.
Our Conference Hall can easily accommodate 150 people with classroom-style seating, 200 with theater-style seating, and can be divided into 3 breakout rooms for smaller conference or training sessions. Wireless internet and built-in audio visual equipment add to the room’s versatility.
Our two smaller facilities, the Community Center and North Center, are ideal for meetings, baby/bridal showers, birthday parties and more.
The Community Center has a true gymnasium feel – sport court floor, tall ceilings and kitchen with pass-through service.
The North Center, located in North Schertz, accommodates small gatherings and celebrations. Stained concrete floor, kitchen and portable Audio Visual Services ensure your event will be a success.
Banquet Package pricing includes: hall rental, tables, chairs, dance floor, A/V, Kitchen, Ice, and Setup Kit if needed.
